How we Raise the Standard:
All of our decisions come together at the intersection of loving God and loving our Customers.
Every company has to make strategic decisions every single day, and all of them will be determined by the chief end of that company. Some companies exist strictly for creating wealth, which can lead to shortcuts, and dishonesty. Others exist strictly for power, which can often set the goals of the customer aside. However, the chief end of Barn Dominion is to Glorify God. What does this look like?
1). We love God. Our values can be summarized in the Ten Commandments. All of our decisions stay within the parameter of these precepts. They are the light unto our feet.
2). We love our Customers. While constantly staying true to our values, our focus turns to you. Our greatest joy is serving you so well, that you can't help but smile. Everything we do, is to achieve that outcome.
3). We love our Employees. In order to serve you with absolute excellence, we only hire the very best, and in turn, we treat them that way. We offer great wages and a work schedule that allows time for family and friends.
4). We love our Vendors. Whether it's sourcing our materials, financing our operations, or purchasing our equipment, we highly value these relationships. Anyone who owns land knows that we do not live in a zero-sum world but rather, we live in a fruitful world. When one seed is planted, many are made. Because of this, we know that if we do our job well, we can also pay our vendors well, and on time. In other words, everybody can win.
5). We love our Work. When we show up to the jobsite, it will be obvious that we love what we do. You can expect cheerful attitudes, a quick pace, clean clothes, and team determined to do their best.
